Copywriting & corporate storytelling

An award-winning writer, editor and executive producer, I’m an expert at storytelling in all its forms, and have worked with a variety of clients to generate bespoke creative content. Some of the organisations who’ve hired me have been international cultural institutions – among them Tate, the Barbican, the British Library, the Royal Opera House and the Young Vic. But I’ve also helped run high-profile projects with blue-chip tech companies, and have collaborated with Jonny Ive’s LoveFrom collective.

I’ve run training programmes and educational workshops for journalists and professional creatives, taught at top UK universities and am a mentor for the NCTJ Journalism Diversity Fund.

Storytelling and copywriting

I’ve worked as a senior copywriter for major brands including Apple, Expedia and Beats, creating razor-sharp copy to tight deadlines, plus exacting style and TOV requirements. The projects I’m proudest of include:

  • Copywriting, ideation and storytelling for LoveFrom, working with blue-chip car and consumer brands.

  • Lead UK copywriter on Apple’s Made in London and Creative Studios initiatives, aimed at empowering young creatives from non-traditional backgrounds in EMEA and the US.

  • Copywriting for high-profile Today at Apple in-store events in UK, US, Hong Kong, Dubai and other territories, including translation, transcreation and localisation of non-English copy.

  • Direct marketing material for Beats UK, including video scripts and social media.

  • Email marketing and brand messaging for Expedia in the US and UK.

An experienced educator, I’ve run sessions in many different contexts and of all kinds — particularly in journalism and imaginative non-fiction writing. I’d be delighted to help you shape your message, reach new audiences, and sharpen your team’s communication skills.
