Podcast & broadcast
I love storytelling in all its forms, but have a deep affinity with audio and podcasting. I’ve exec produced and story edited major investigative series, worked as a development consultant and written/hosted my own standalone factual documentaries. I’m an enthusiastic project and people manager, a sharp-eared script editor, and have a wealth of editorial experience. I’ve also made video shorts and been an expert contributor to network TV series.
Exec/story editor
Intrigue: Worse Than Murder
TellTale for BBC Radio 4/Sounds, 7 x 28 min, 2024
I EP’d this historical series into the attempted kidnapping of Anna Murdoch in 1970, which prompted a fresh police investigation into the case. Managed producer and researchers, edited/signed off scripts, collaborated with commissioners, resolved legal queries, gave feedback on sound design and edits, and much more.
Intrigue: Word of God
TellTale for BBC Radio 4/Sounds, 6 x 28 min, 2025
I story edited a multipart series investigating the Museum of the Bible in Washington DC – a looted antiquities scandal with complex links to Christian nationalism, Trump and Project 2025. I led on narrative and storytelling, wrote and edited scripts, supported the production team and advised on legal and compliance issues.

Tom Stoppard Faces The Past

As Tom Stoppard brought his newest and most autobiographical play to Broadway, I interviewed him for The New Yorker Radio Hour. We talked about memory, loss, the Holocaust and why he wanted to put his own story on stage after a lifetime.

An experienced on-camera presenter and talking head, I was a specialist contributor to BBC4/WGBH’s Shakespeare Uncovered TV series (2012–18) and Channel 4’s Shakespeare’s Tomb (2016).
I’ve been a panellist on the live debate programme The Big Questions (BBC1), and have often appeared live on BBC News as an arts commentator and journalist.
