Podcast & broadcast

I love storytelling in all its forms, but have a deep affinity with audio and podcasting. I’ve exec produced and story edited major investigative series, worked as a development consultant and written/hosted my own standalone factual documentaries. I’m an enthusiastic project and people manager, a sharp-eared script editor, and have a wealth of editorial experience. I’ve also made video shorts and been an expert contributor to network TV series.

Exec/story editor

Intrigue: Worse Than Murder

TellTale for BBC Radio 4/Sounds, 7 x 28 min, 2024

I EP’d this major historical investigation into the attempted kidnapping of Anna Murdoch in 1970, which went out on the BBC Sounds Intrigue strand. Managed producer and researchers, edited/signed off scripts, collaborated with commissioners, resolved legal queries, gave feedback on sound design and edits, and wrote show notes.

Intrigue: Word of God

TellTale for BBC Radio 4/Sounds, 6 x 28 min, 2025

Story edited a multipart series investigating the Museum of the Bible in Washington DC – a looted antiquities scandal with complex links to Christian nationalism, Trump and Project 2025. I led on narrative, wrote and edited scripts, and advised on legal and compliance issues.

Consultant

I’ve worked as an editorial consultant for studios including Novel, TellTale Industries and Antica Productions, advising on series ideas, project development and commissioner pitches. If you’d like me to advise on something you’re working on, do get in touch.
